Meet the Doctors

Dr. Michael Giebenhain graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2008 at which time he received the operative award, given to the most technically proficient student in the graduating class. Since then, Dr. Mike has completed extensive post doctoral training in oral surgery and the placement of dental implants. He has performed hundreds of successful dental implant cases. Dr. Mike is also our “go to guy” for root canals, and full mouth reconstructions. “Practicing dentistry has been very rewarding for me. I love the challenge of combining artistry with function. The satisfaction of restoring people's oral health and creating good dental experiences gives everyone something to smile about!”

Life is busy for Dr. Mike and his two sons.. The family loves fishing, camping, gardening, and anything to do with tractors and the outdoors.

Currently Dr. Mike is available on Thursdays at Creekside Family Dental; he looks forward to working with you for all your dental needs.

Dr. Patrick grew up in Prior Lake and was trained at the University of Iowa where he received a bachelor's degree in Biology and Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry. 

When not at work Dr. Patrick likes to stay active by playing golf, basketball, and exercising.  He's also an avid fan of Minnesota sports, and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Giebenhain Dental Associates, P.A. has been providing dental care to Minneapolis and the western suburbs since 1979. Dr. John Giebenhain is a native of Golden Valley, and graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. John and his wife have lived in Plymouth for 30 years where they raised three sons. His expertise in family centered dentistry is coupled with genuine concern for his patients.

I believe that, by offering options and educating patients, we become partners in deciding which treatment path to follow. We strive to listen to what our patients want, based on sound information. This philosophy has always worked well for me at the office, and in my everyday life, as well.”

Dr. Giebenhain enjoys spending time with family in the great outdoors, especially at their cabin near Grand Marais.
